We enjoyed our week in Largs and we were excited to go to Tarbert on 28 May. We had a nice sail to Tarbert, and then the weather turned. Currently we are waiting for a weather window when we can leave this very well-protected harbor to sail south to Campbelltown and then around the Mull of Kintyre. The Mull of Kintyre separates the Clyde from the rest of the west coast of Scotland. Once we get around the Mull of Kintyre, we’ll be able to sail further north and west, eventually making our way to the Outer Hebrides. As usual in Scotland, we have to time our passages carefully with considerations for the weather, sea state, tides, and currents.

Aye, the Scots enjoy being blustery?
Aye, that they are!
